I have a friend who's worried he's losing his hair as he's only in his 20's and thinning on top. I told him since he has a great personality, that looks aren't that important to women. Am I misleading him?

Sorry, but I am not attracted to men with thinning hair. Women can accept a lot of faults of men. We do huge amounts of primping and pruning while men just shave and throw on some clothes. I know a man can't help losing his hair. It changes the way his face looks though, particularly if his hairline recedes.

thinning hair doesn't bug me at all, unless a guy acts all insecure about it. combovers and tupee's are a big turn-off. and if a lady is gonna turn him down over something like that, I say he's better off without her superficial azz.

Well it is not the most attractive thing. I have a friend in his 20s as well that is thinning on top, he is so aware of it and he goes on about it alot, you can tell he is insecure about it. And that is the biggest turn off. Honestly if he didnt mention it I wouldnt have thought twice about it. So if your friend doesnt care about it then he should be fine.

Thinning hair is not a turn off unless he is in denial and is trying to cover the thin-ness by combing over or some other bad cover-up hair style.

The reality is that men lose their hair. Women know that, and since it's something hereditary, we don't hold it against men. But we do hold immaturity against them, and denying that you're losing your hair (as stated above) is a sign of immaturity.

If he's really concerned, he could shave his head. Lots of women find bald (as a hairstyle, not naturally bald in their 20's) very sexy...
