if she uses hair products like gel and stuff then her hair is not falling out or anything. its cuz the natural hair that ur supposed to loose in a day is not getting out until you wash it cuz the gel is holding it in place. dont worry about it. it happens to me all the time.

well everyone loses from 80 to 100 hairs a day.....if her hair is curly or uses a lot of products, it can get caught in there and when she wets it and combs it, it will all come out at the same time.....if she is losing a lot more all the time, then it might be stress, or heredity. check her scalp for any bald spots or thinning spots. if none, then its probably normal. if she has over colored her hair, and she does not take care of it, it could also be breakage........hope this helps.

It's either she's stressing too much, or washing it too much. Lots of combing, stylings, washing, blow dryings, hot ironing it, can do alot of damage to her hair. Sometimes, its also the hair products she's using, i had problems with certain brands of shampoos. Also, if she minimizes washing her hair to every other day, it should get better. If it just started happening lately, it could also be, the time of the month to start shedding old hair, and growing out new ones, so hair falling out can be common. I think hair loss is natural. Are you sure it is because her hair is long, that it just looks like a lot of hairs are falling? Maybe it is not even her hair falling, but hair breakage which is caused by damaged and dried hair. She probably uses conditioner which makes her hair smoother after the shower, but have hair that has already fallen out, to actually fall out. Besides, people lose thousands of hair throughout the day. I do not think it is anything serious, unless it is very severe til the point she is receiving bald spots.
