I lost the instructions for the ultra sheen hair relaxer kit, does anyone know how long it should be

i am straightening my sons wavy hair and i lost the instructions for the hair relaxer, i know what to mix and how to apply it, i just dont know how long it is suppose to stay on his hair........help

ANY relaxer should stay on the hair until the hair has relaxed 80%. It generally only takes between 10 and 20 minutes. How old is your son and how long is his hair? if he's a child be sure to apply a base or he'll be screaming bloody murder. If his hair is long be sure to apply quick or he will process unevenly. Yeah, you may not want to leave it on more than 10 mins though. It also depends on the strength of the relaxer (mild, regular, super). So if you go with no more than 10 mins from first application to finish you should be good.
