He's about 4 pounds, and about a foot long when standing on all fours. The hair lose are around the top of the hip in maybe 1 inch circles or square shapes down to the skin. The total area without much hair on each leg is around 3 to 4 inches.

Please take your poor doggie to the vet. This is something that you can't fix without his help and the bald spots won't go away by themselves. It will take medicine.
