Why is my hair falling out. I recently had twins. Is this normal?? I don't want to lose my hair

I am so worried. I have heard that hair falling out was l linked to hormones or something. Should I be worried or is it normal after pregnancy. I have never had this happen b-4.

Dear worried...yes this is very normal after childbirth. Your hair loses some nutients due to hormone balance being out of wack for a short time. You could try some Vitamins sold at salons called Nioxin. There is a full line of product by this company noted for hair reconditioning, and regrowing stronger beautiful hair. Try Ebay under health and beauty...then click hair care products...type in Nioxin if you cant find products. The vitamins are kind of costly...but 3 month supply should do the trick. I save lots of money buying these on ebay. These are wonderful for your needs at this time. Also helps fingernails to be stronger and healthier as well as restore your hair strength and it will grow back lustrous and full. You just calm down and dont stress...stress causes hair loss also.Just look at the miracle you have created...your beautiful babies. Things will get back to norm within a few short months. Take care.. God Bless

It is normal to lose some hair, but some methods of hormonal birth control can cause it to happen a lot more, though it is very rare. Talk to your doctor if it concerns you that much.

It really is normal. When you're super stressed, have a baby, (or two) it'll seem like you're losing a lot of hair. Unless you've got noticeable bald spots though, I would try not to fixate on it. I know that is easy for me to say, but it's happened to me several times, and eventually when your body calms down and your stress level is managed (by exercise and diet) it will slow down.
